About the Role
The primary function of the Housing Maintenance Worker job is to perform routine maintenance work on public housing units in areas such as plumbing, dry-wall repair, lighting fixtures, painting, carpentry, remodeling tasks, and other building trades. Housing Maintenance Workers may also perform basic preventative maintenance and repair duties involving heating and air conditioning and electrical systems. This position is subject to emergency call-out and must be able to work overtime including nights and weekends and stand-by as required.
Requirements
HS degree,
Must be comfortable using technology to complete their work including working with Smartphones, computers, and tablets;
must pass a criminal background check
A valid driver’s license
Able to lift 75 lbs.
